BHS MUSIC BOOSTERS RECEIVE AWARD FROM SONIC EMOTION!

The Bolingbrook High School Music Boosters are the proud recipients of a $500 donation from Sonic Emotion, the creators of Absolute 3D sound! Sonic Emotion, in collaboration with Bolt Public Relations, conducted a "Music in Our Schools" contest on Facebook requesting schools to be nominated for this award. VVSD music teacher Rebecca Battista Sullivan nominated Bolingbrook High School as well as many other Bolingbrook schools. Recipients were selected based upon the company review of school websites and social media promoting the music programs. It was also important that the school recognized have both band and choir programs as they want the donation to support both music programs.

We humbly thank Sonic Emotion for this generous award and we also thank Rebecca Battista Sullivan for her kind nomination!

2012-2013 OFFICER ELECTION NOTICE

The BHS Music Booster organization will hold the annual election of the 2012-2013 officers on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the Bolingbrook High School choir room during the monthly meeting. Anyone interested in running for an office (President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) should contact Shari Koehler by April 3, 2012.

MUSIC BOOSTERS MISSION STATEMENT

The Primary goal of the Boosters is to ensure the continuation of the best possible music programs for Bolingbrook High School students. The Boosters will provide a framework for parental involvement and a means by which parents can affect positive support for all musical programs at Bolingbrook High School. This includes encouraging and maintaining an interest in all groups, moral and financial support, cooperation with band and choral directors, and working with the policies, rules, and procedures of Bolingbrook High School.
